Creating Our Own Symbolic Breastplate

This two part workshop is based on the ancient Egyptian & world indigenous peoples' practice of making pectorals/chest pieces that hold meaning to the wearer. We will use the first session to explore archetypes & symbols and then determine something that has meaning for each participant. In the second part, we will make an archetype breast piece in fabric, cardboard or paper. suitable for all skill levels.

Bach Flower Dances & Remedies

Kate Shaw,visiting Circle Dance teacher from Hobart shares a selection of Bach Flower Dances following her recent training in Switzerland. These simple easy to learn dances may carry healing qualities similar to their equivalent Bach flower remedies. General insights on prescribing Bach Flower remedies will be shared by a retired natural therapist/naturopath.

During this workshop, there will be peaceful interludes with garden & labyrinth walking, morning & afternoon teas & other Circle Dancing to restore group energy.

Bach Flower dances are simple, easy to learn dances with no prior dance experience needed. This workshop is suitable for both dancers & non-dancers.

Kate has a background in & passion for folk dancing. she is an experienced Circle Dance teacher & wonderful supporter of the Tasmanian & Australian Circle Dance communities.

Reflections on Sacred Circle Dance Journey

An afternoon of reflection & discussion with June Watts, master Circle Dance Teacher, choreographer & author, on the journey Sacred Circle Dance has taken from its beginnings with Bernard Wosien & Findhorn Spiritual Community where it is today with World Circle Dance Days.

Don't miss this opportunity to meet June Watts in person & hear about the early days with Bernard Wosien & what it was like being in one of his classes. Learn about her own journey & "White Bird" which was one of her early choreographies that has become legend in the repertoire of World Sacred Circle Dances.

June Watts now lives in Spain & travels the world teaching & choreographing some wonderful dances for the pleasure of us all. She will be running a weekend Circle Dance Workshop on 28th and 29th September in teh Adelaide Hills at Crafers, Church of the Epiphany Hall. Enquiries welcome.

Dancing Towards Christmas

She returns to Adelaide from UK & Europe with a collection of Christmas Circle Dances, many of which are from her good friend and well know UK choreographer, Brenda Kelly.
